Overview

The Advanced Account Specialist is a key partner in providing support for the Programmatic Sales and Account Management team. This role will partner with Sales and Account Management as they monitor and build programmatic deals to ensure the proper elements are received and executed as intended. They will ensure accuracy and communicate with the Ad Operations and Product Management Team about optimization, resolve any concerns around implementation, technology pacing and performance based on the campaigns that have been escalated from the Sales team. They will provide post-campaign reporting and analysis as well as serve as a cross functional liaison that requires an escalation path.

Responsibilities

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience for programmatic deals.
  • Partner with Account Managers to understand client marketing objectives to help work on programmatic recommendations as part of the larger overall multiscreen campaign.
  • Manage programmatic campaigns from start to finish and oversee campaign accuracy and performance, including deal intake accuracy, correct implementation, troubleshooting, reporting, delivery, pacing, and ensuring KPIs are aligned with expectations.
  • Work cross-functionally with Operations to ensure correct setup and execution and to troubleshoot campaigns.
  • Liaison with cross-functional partners (Ad Operations, Product, and Yield Management) to institute optimization tactics and campaign compliance, and communicate changes and progress to Sales and Account Management where necessary.
  • Show understanding of product capabilities and troubleshoot/maximize inventory usage to ensure optimized delivery.
  • Review and evaluate campaign effectiveness with Account Managers to drive account strategy for retaining clients and positioning new business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

  • Must have experience managing Programmatic campaigns
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with the ability to translate data, information, and research into compelling points of view
  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Familiarity with and experience in digital marketing; understanding of online campaign development, metrics, and optimization strategies
  • Ability to decipher between client needs, e.g., branding campaigns vs. call-to-action and the associated schedules
  • Familiarity with writing rationales and/or agency points of view
  • Demonstrated understanding of reach and frequency when measuring campaigns
  • An analytical mindset that identifies solutions based in data
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience: Media sales campaign management (1-2 years), programmatic experience, experience reviewing digital advertising campaign performance and execution
  • Technical Skills: MS Office and spreadsheets
  • Skills: Communication, organization, attention to detail, familiarity with and experience in digital marketing; understanding of online campaign development, metrics, and optimization strategies; ability to decipher between client needs (branding vs. CTA); familiarity with writing rationales and/or agency points of view; demonstrated understanding of reach and frequency; analytical mindset

  • Proficiency in advertising technology and familiarity with ad tracking and performance metrics platforms

The base pay for this position generally is between $54,960.00 and $75,000.00. The actual compensation offered will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and some positions may be eligible for additional forms of incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
