The Advanced Account Specialist is a key partner in providing support for the Programmatic Sales and Account Management team. This role will collaborate with Sales and Account Management to monitor and build programmatic deals, ensure proper elements are received and executed, and communicate with Ad Operations and Product Management about optimization, implementation concerns, technology pacing, and performance for escalated campaigns. The role provides post-campaign reporting and analysis and serves as a cross-functional liaison requiring an escalation path.

Responsibilities

  • Actively and consistently support efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience for programmatic deals.
  • Partner with Account Managers to understand client marketing objectives and contribute to programmatic recommendations as part of multiscreen campaigns.
  • Manage programmatic campaigns from start to finish, ensuring campaign accuracy and performance; oversee deal intake, implementation, troubleshooting, reporting, delivery, pacing, and KPI alignment.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Operations team to ensure correct setup and execution and to troubleshoot campaigns.
  • Liaison with Ad Operations, Product, and Yield Management to implement optimization tactics, ensure campaign compliance, and communicate changes and progress to Sales and Account Management as needed.
  • Demonstrate understanding of product capabilities and troubleshoot to maximize inventory usage for optimized delivery.
  • Review and evaluate campaign effectiveness with Account Managers to drive account strategy for client retention and new business opportunities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

  • Must have experience managing programmatic campaigns.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communications with the ability to translate data and research into compelling points of view.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, online campaign development, metrics, and optimization strategies.
  • Ability to discern client needs between branding and call-to-action campaigns and understand scheduling implications.
  • Familiarity with writing rationales and/or agency points of view.
  • Demonstrated understanding of reach and frequency when measuring campaigns.
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven problem-solving.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Media sales campaign management (1-2 years), Programmatic experience, and experience reviewing digital campaign performance and execution.
  • Technical Skills: MS Office and spreadsheets.
  • Skills: Communication, organization, attention to detail; familiarity with digital marketing and campaign optimization; ability to distinguish between client needs and campaign types; familiarity with writing rationales and agency POVs; data-driven decision making.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in advertising technology and familiarity with ad tracking and performance metrics platforms.

The base pay for this position generally ranges from $54,960.00 to $75,000.00, with actual compensation influenced by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums; some positions are eligible for additional incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
