What you will do

The Multimedia Production Specialist II, under general supervision, supports the development of creative multimedia projects. Provides video production services and creative content support for athletics’ social media channels, video board shows and team recruiting needs.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4 years of experience in multimedia production.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of Asset Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of Daktronics System Interfaces.
  • A Creative Eye & Technical Knowledge of Cinematic Cameras.
  • 4 years of video production & content creation within collegiate or professional sports.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Knowledge of planning and executing marketing plans with regards to multimedia preferred.
  • Excellent written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to conceptually understand instructional needs and translate them into multimedia designs.
  • Ability to work outdoors exposed to various weather conditions, potential allergens, elevated noise levels, and heat.

Responsibilities

Digital Creative Content

  • Creates and oversees all creative video content that is produced for assigned teams.
  • Works with other external departments to facilitate demands and storyboard ideas for content execution on the teams’ social media channels and other digital platforms.

Video Board Creative Content

  • Plan, create and oversee videoboard content for the assigned team’s live home events.
  • Collaborate with A&M Ventures and the marketing department to implement sponsorship moments within the run of show.
  • Work with similar areas to push engagement with The 12th Man and create a unique home field advantage aimed at being among the best in college athletics.

Management

  • Supervise a crew of students for each sport to help execute the creative plan.
  • Manage and cultivate growth from their student staff.
  • 12MP employs a staff of over 80 students and is known for producing quality graduates into the field.
  • It is a department goal to continue this tradition.

Creative for Special Projects

  • Completes creative projects outside the scope of specific team content for the betterment of the athletic department.

Team Recruiting Creative Content

  • Coordinates with assigned teams’ staff to develop a creative content strategy that best supports the team and its student athletes.
