Position Overview:
The Hospital Marketer is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that promote the hospital’s services, increase patient engagement, and strengthen relationships with the community, referring physicians, and partner organizations. This role involves both digital and traditional marketing methods, as well as collaboration with various departments such as administration, public relations, and clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Planning
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans aligned with hospital goals and service lines.
Conduct market research to identify trends, patient demographics, and competitor strategies.
Analyze campaign performance and adjust strategies to optimize ROI.
2. Branding & Communications
Maintain brand consistency across all communications, advertising, and promotional materials.
Write and edit content for brochures, newsletters, digital platforms, and press releases.
Work with graphic designers and media teams to produce creative content (videos, ads, social media visuals).
3. Community & Physician Outreach
Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, clinics, and community partners.
Organize and attend community events, health fairs, and sponsorship opportunities.
Coordinate hospital tours, physician meet-and-greets, and seminars for community groups.
4. Digital Marketing
Manage the hospital’s website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns.
Use SEO/SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM tools to drive traffic and track engagement.
Promote new services, events, and patient success stories online.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
Coordinate with the PR and Communications teams to manage media relations and crisis communications.
Report on marketing KPIs and campaign results to hospital leadership.
Assist in managing marketing budgets and vendor contracts.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Experience: 2–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitals, or medical services.
