Lead Visual, Full Time, San Luis Obispo - Pottery Barn. You will join Pottery Barn to lead visual execution and support store management in delivering World-Class service.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the store and perform register and back-office duties to support daily operations
  • Maintain visual standards, replenishment, cleanliness, safety and back-of-house organization during on-duty shifts
  • Serve as a Selling Captain, role model for sales associates in sales generation and customer service
  • Educate the team on products and selling skills using Selling Essentials and training resources
  • Provide training and coaching in selling, product knowledge, clienteling, and in-home services
  • Maintain an environment of fairness and respect in line with the People First Philosophy

Qualifications

  • Effective communication, organizational and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to motivate others through actions and examples
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, reach and lift for extended periods
  • 1-3 years retail sales experience with shift supervision preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in home design, visual merchandising, or stockroom preferred (specialty retail preferred, but not required)

Physical Requirements

  • Mobility on the sales floor for extended periods
  • Lift and move items up to 75 lbs with proper equipment and safety techniques
  • Full-time availability to meet business needs
  • Part-Time Flex associates must be available for two weekend shifts and two weekdays, with additional hours as needed
