Responsibilities
- Develop and mentor a team of data engineers (5 team members) focused on data architecture and infrastructure to enable marketing performance analytics.
- Own the data engineering roadmap, aligning with business needs, priorities, and overarching strategy.
- Design and deliver scalable, reliable, and innovative large-scale data warehousing solutions to support data ingestion, optimized aggregates, and reporting.
- Develop a scalable integration strategy spanning multiple marketing channels, external vendors, data sources, and internal warehouses.
- Write production-quality code to build models and collaborate with IT and marketing teams to deploy them in production dashboards.
- Work with Go-To-Market, Sales, Marketing Operations, and Analytics teams to enable effective measurement and ongoing optimization of campaign performance.
- Contribute to initiatives such as marketing attribution model evolution, ROI measurement refinements, and optimization of marketing mix for customer acquisition, retention, and pipeline acceleration.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing and deploying data architecture strategies or engineering practices for marketing and/or sales teams.
- 5+ years of experience with complex SQL, including window and analytical functions.
- Deep knowledge of cloud data warehouse technologies (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Splunk); Python or similar scripting language.
- Experience with DBT and familiarity with DevOps/development tools (Docker, Artifactory, Airflow, Git).
- Strong understanding of marketing analytics, attribution, and ROI methodologies.
- Self-starter with ability to solve unstructured data problems and work with large data sets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences and collaborate with business partners across Sales, Partner, and Marketing Operations.
- Experience with AGILE/SCRUM processes.
Education: Bachelors degree preferred in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
Salary and Benefits
Pay Range: $163,000 - $219,000. Salary ranges reflect base salary for U.S./Canada locations and do not include equity or benefits. Hiring ranges for sales roles may include incentive compensation. Final compensation is location-based and may vary by skillset, experience, and qualifications. U.S. employees have access to comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with Cisco match, disability coverage, life insurance, and wellbeing programs. Holidays and vacation time are provided in accordance with Cisco policies.
