The work location for this role is hybrid, performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days as determined by the team’s business needs. This role will be based in San Francisco, Mountain View CA or New York, NY. We are looking for a Strategic Finance Sr. Associate to join the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) team to lead top- and bottom-line impact through objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. You will focus on business-wide initiatives including GTM acceleration opportunities, operating model redesign, and long-term strategic planning to support growth of our ads business. You will work closely with Strategic Finance teams and cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales, GTM Ops, Marketing, BizDev, and Product) to craft strategies, translate data into actionable business recommendations, chart courses of action, and hold teams accountable to drive sustainable growth. Responsibilities
Strategic Thinking: identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and support strategy development with business partners; validate and execute pressure testing of growth opportunities; operationalize ideas and develop plans for execution with some senior-level support; build collaborative relationships with other teams and seek input to understand priorities and constraints. Stakeholder Influence: communicate implications of work (forecasts, analyses, trends) to senior cross-functional stakeholders to drive action; leverage insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance. Execution & Organization: partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives with a metrics-oriented perspective and minimal supervision; exercise judgment within defined procedures to develop workstreams and processes; proactively identify obstacles and unblock them with minimal support. Performance Management: access, transform, and synthesize data from cross-platform sources; analyze to assess signals, trends, and risks; execute ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address complex business questions; develop hypotheses using identified signals, trends, and risks. Qualifications
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in finance, finance accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or related field OR equivalent experience. Preferred Qualifications: 1+ year of experience in the technology industry Ability to seek information independently and solve conceptual problems with directional guidance Concise and effective communications: articulate and debate recommendations with cross-functional teams and senior leadership Strong data analysis skills (SQL a plus) Suggested Skills: Financial Acumen Forecasting Data Analysis Problem Solving Strategic Thinking Project Management Compensation and Benefits
LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $158,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and location.
