Seeking Seeking Screenwriter Location Location Los Angeles, California, New York City, New York, Edinburgh, United Kingdom and Reykjavík, Iceland Status Status Development Type Type Episodic Genre My name is Eydís and I'm filmmaker from Iceland, I’m looking for a co-writer / screenwriter to join me in developing an animated series currently in early development with European producers and screenwriting funding in place. The Role: We’ll be co-creating the pilot script and treatments for four additional episodes together. This is a deferred payment collaboration compensation will come once the pilot and episode treatments are completed and the next funding stage is unlocked. This is an opportunity that could lead to ongoing collaboration. If everything goes well, we’ll discuss continuing together for future episodes and seasons. What I’m looking for Experience writing for animation (TV or streaming) Strong sense of humor, heart, and character-driven storytelling Collaborative spirit someone excited to brainstorm, iterate, and polish scripts together Understanding of writing for children’s audiences while keeping it clever and layere IF you love worldbuilding, quirky characters, and writing dialogue that sings, I’d love to connect Please send me your CV and 1–2 writing samples if you’re interested
