Responsibilities
The company seeks a strategic and execution-focused Vice President of Digital Marketing to lead digital marketing operations, ensure strong team and vendor execution, and support census growth across a multi-site behavioral health network. This role is the primary point of contact for digital marketing, translating strategy into tactical execution. The role will also focus on website performance and SEO optimization to support organic lead generation.
The individual will be accountable for top-of-funnel lead generation, conversion through admissions, and cost goals. The ideal candidate is a proven leader in data-driven performance marketing with a deep understanding of managing integrated campaigns supporting complex service lines.
This is a remote position.
Lead Generation Strategy, Campaign & Budget Management
Define lead generation strategies across channels to maximize qualified leads and minimize cost per acquisition.
Design campaign content strategies and performance targets for lead volume, conversion, and cost.
Coordinate with other marketing functions to ensure campaigns align with the national brand and regional needs.
Develop and validate monthly performance reports, identifying risks and opportunities.
Collaborate on PPC and media strategies with agency partners, validating spend and ROI tracking.
Management & Performance Oversight
Act as the day-to-day contact for internal teams and vendors, ensuring alignment with priorities and SLAs across website maintenance, SEO, content, lead form optimization, conversion tracking, paid campaigns, and performance metrics.
Hold teams accountable to KPIs and SLAs, delivering improvements in ROI and CPA.
Lead KPI reviews and adjust strategies based on market dynamics and census goals.
Identify performance issues with analytical tools and develop dashboards for reporting.
Email / SMS Campaigns
Build and maintain distribution lists, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
Develop and execute email and SMS campaigns, analyzing performance metrics for optimization.
Align campaigns with business objectives in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Maintain visibility into marketing’s role in admissions, collaborating with facility leaders and operational teams.
Coordinate with creative teams to test strategies and innovations.
Partner with Business Development and Call Center leadership to align campaigns with operational capacity.
Optimize lead attribution and ensure data flows are compliant across platforms.
Qualifications
10+ years in performance marketing, with at least 3 years in leadership overseeing teams and vendors.
Proven success managing SEO, content, PPC, and CRO across multiple web properties.
Deep understanding of Google Analytics, CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), and call tracking platforms (CallRail, Five9).
Experience with HIPAA-compliant marketing and healthcare marketing, especially behavioral health, is preferred.
Strong quantitative skills to derive insights and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Exceptional project management and vendor accountability skills.
Ability to operate with urgency, autonomy, and a performance-driven mindset.
