Phaxis LLC is hiring: Tech Writer in New York

Proven experience as a Technical Writer (this is not a Business Analyst role).

Strong understanding of APIs and technical integration processes.

Ability to document systems using both modern (JSON/Python) and legacy (mainframe) formats.

Experience working with mainframe file layouts is helpful but not required.

Industry experience is flexible no specific domain knowledge required.

Capital markets experience is not needed (but general technical acumen is expected).



Day to Day:



This consultant will be responsible for writing comprehensive technical specifications and documentation. This includes developing detailed documents outlining file layouts, API calls (primarily using JSON and Python), and integration instructions for external partners. The role requires the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation. While not the main focus, the work may also involve documenting mainframe file layouts.
