You will be the champion for our users, ensuring that cutting-edge health insights feel simple and engaging.

Youll collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing to design thoughtful, user-centered features across our mobile and web apps. From initial concept, through wireframes, prototypes, and final high-fidelity UI, youll bring clarity, creativity, and consistency to every touchpoint. This role involves everything from defining user flows for new features to refining revenue funnels to drive performance.

This is an ideal opportunity for a designer eager to grow in a fast-paced, early-stage environment and build something from the ground up. Youll have broad ownership and plenty of autonomy to innovate. Your work will directly help people understand their bodies better, change their habits, and achieve lasting health results. Requirements

What Youll Do

• Own end-to-end product design for new and existing features from discovery and ideation through wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
  

• Create intuitive user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for both web and mobile that simplify complex health data into clear, actionable interfaces.
  

• Translate biometric data, DNA insights, and coaching tips into engaging visualizations and dashboards that help users track their progress and understand their next steps.
  

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to shape product strategy and roadmap decisions with a user-centered perspective.
  

• Contribute to and evolve AlterMes design system, ensuring a consistent look-and-feel and scalable design patterns across all platforms.
  

• Advocate for accessibility, simplicity, and delightful interaction details in every design sweating the small stuff to ensure a polished, inclusive user experience.
  

What Were Looking For

• 24+ years of experience designing intuitive, engaging consumer digital products (mobile and/or web). Experience or strong interest in health, wellness, or behavior-change products is a big plus.
  

• Strong portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process and the impact of your work. You can demonstrate how youve taken complex problems and crafted elegant UX/UI solutions.
  

• Experience designing data-rich interfaces with simplicity for example, turning biometric, fitness, or financial data into user-friendly dashboards or visuals.
  

• Proficiency in Figma and modern prototyping tools. Youre comfortable rapidly iterating in low-fi and polishing high-fidelity designs.
  

• Keen eye for visual detail coupled with a focus on usability. You can balance pixel-perfect polish with clear information to create interfaces that are both beautiful and easy to use.
  

• Deep empathy for users and a customer-obsessed mindset you care about improving peoples lives and always advocate for the users needs when making design decisions.
  

• Comfort with ambiguity and enthusiasm for fast-paced startup environments. Youre proactive, adaptable, and excited to build alongside a passionate team that celebrates wins and has fun along the way.
