At Edgevanta, our mission is to improve the lives of estimators and builders in the dirt world byhelping them:
- Estimate and bid faster and more accurately
- Win more work at the right price
Our customers are the unsung heroes building the infrastructure we all rely on - from the water systems that sustain us to the airports that connect us to the roads we drive on every day Without infrastructure contractors, society wouldnt function.
And at the heart of it all are estimators - the experts responsible for pricing and planning these massive projects. We believe estimators are awesome! No technology will replace them.Theyre among the most skilled professionals in the industry, yet theyve been held back by outdated, manual workflows that slow them down and cost them money.
Edgevanta exists to change that.
Our intuitive, web-based bidding management platform gives contractors the tools to work faster, smarter, and more profitably throughout the estimating lifecycle. Were not just improving the process - were giving estimators and builders the competitive edge they deserve and freeing them up to do their best work. Come build with us.
Our Story:
Edgevanta wasnt just an idea. It was a necessity built from firsthand experience in the dirt world. Our Founder and CEO, Tristan Wilson, is a 4th-generation contractor who grew up in his familys business, Barriere Construction, a leading infrastructure contractor in South Louisiana. He spent years bidding and managing civil projects, battling the same challenges todays estimators face. He learned the hard way.
His first big bid? He underpriced the job by $700,000 on a $2.1 million bid - losing 33% of potential profit. Another time, a $6.5 million bid was submitted just 19 seconds late - disqualifying what would have been the winning bid.
Those moments made it clear - estimating and bidding were broken. And if the system wasnt working for him, it wasnt working for countless other contractors. Thats why he started Edgevanta - a platform designed by builders for builders. Since launching in 2022, weve partnered with top US paving and infrastructure contractors nationwide, achieving 3X growth in the last year alone. Our team of construction veterans, SaaS experts, and industry disruptors is obsessed with improving the lives of estimators and builders in the dirt world.
Our Culture:
Edgevanta's success is built on five core values that define everything we do: Making It Happen, Curiosity, Solving Customer Problems, Candor, and Doing Good. If you're passionate about creating meaningful impact in the construction industry and committed to going above and beyond, we want to hear from you.
