Year 2025 International Competition for Voice on Sunday, October 26 at the Bethesda Presbyterian Church, 7611 Clarendon Road, Bethesda, MD 20814 (Adjacent to the Bethesda Elementary School).

For all voice types (High School, College, and Young Professionals), no age limits.

This year the format has changed.

The repertoire: Two contrasting pieces of any genres (classical, musical theatre, pop, jazz, spiritual) no more than 15 minutes in total (you may precut).

The selected winners will perform at the AAMS Young Musicians’ Concert, Millennium Stage, Kennedy Center on Saturday, November 15, 2025. There will be a small scholarship for First, Second, and Third place winners.

Two master classes will be offered on Sunday, November 2 and Sunday, November 9 at 3:00 pm.

Application deadline: Saturday, October 11, 2025. Upon receipt of the application, we will contact you by e-mail.

Application Materials

Submit a copy of your current resume and a photo (not required from last year’s competitors).

If you cannot attend in person, you may submit a YouTube Unlisted video link with your application. You MUST be available for one or both master classes and rehearsals on Sunday, November 2 or November 9, and Saturday, November 15 at the Millennium Stage, Kennedy Center from 3:00 to 7:00 pm.

All applicants must send materials by e-mail.

Winners will be announced soon after the competition on the day of the event.
