Job Description
In your new role you will:
Define and execute the Motor Control System vision and strategy (non-automotive)
Contribute to ambitious business targets, establish and track key performance metrics to measure Motor Control Systems success, customer satisfaction, and business growth
Relate system activity KPIs to e.g. increase in customer count, MCU design-ins, product revenue/margin, system solution – in close alignment with SMD segments and PLs
Lead a core team of Motor Control system experts that covers system level hardware and software competencies. Team roles include SAR, SAE, R&D for SW Libraries & Tools, Business Development, AMK, additional as needed (tbd)
Own the Motor Control solutions and ecosystem related messaging (outbound marketing, digital customer engagement)
Ensure strong focus on customer’s system experience, i.e., ease-of-use, validated by regular customer and distributor feedback for systematic improvement
Analyze market / competitors regarding trends and offering on application level using regional input and consolidate it in application market analysis
Define IFX offering (products, SW, services) for motor control application including ecosystem partners
Develop and continuously update motor control application roadmap including commercial assessment
Identify and close roadmap gaps, i.e. drive and continuously adjust dedicated roadmaps for Demo/Eval/Ref system level boards, SW algorithms, SW tools and GUIs/MC Suite, Middleware architecture
Create and prioritize roadmaps that outline key milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with the vision and strategy
Collaboratively synchronize and influence Motor Control system-related product roadmaps & NPI (i.e. Motor Control HW system BOM)
Communicate Motor Control related product plans, progress, and changes to internal stakeholders, customers, executives, and team members
Drive active business development on system level in defined hunting zones (application areas) and stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
Ensure Lab based system application engineering around Motor Control algorithms, including Lab capacity for testing and validation of SW and boards
Ensure cost-efficient and scalable customer support, in close collaboration and alignment with SMD segments, regional support structures and development support from BLs/PLs
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
12+ years relevant working experience within the semiconductor market, with experience in motor control systems
5+ years relevant management experience, as a team leader, ability to identify, attract and retain talents
University degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable

Minimum of $201,100 salary per year / Maximum of $276,500 salary per year

Minimum of $182,300 salary per year / Maximum of $250,700 salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
