Role Summary:
Serve as the
Technical Marketing Manager
for Home Control, owning market strategy and GTM execution across NXP's MCU and MPU portfolios. Apply strong understanding of
MCU/MPU architectures and operating systems (RTOS, Zephyr, Linux)
to shape system-level solutions and guide strategic decisions. Deliver measurable pipeline growth and secure Tier 1/2 design wins in priority regions. Translate customer needs into differentiated HW+SW solutions and launches; equip Sales with positioning, pricing, and tools to accelerate adoption and meet revenue/margin plans. Own competitive positioning and win/loss insights; provide accurate forecast inputs and scenario plans to support quarterly commits. Primary Responsibilities:
Lead go-to-market (GTM) for Smart Home across MCU, MPU portfolios; drive design-wins and revenue growth. Leverage technical expertise in
MCU/MPU architectures and RTOS/Zephyr/Linux
to influence solution design, ecosystem integration, and customer engagements. Convert customer and market insights into MRDs/PRDs and reference design requirements (HW + SW + tools), with emphasis on
edge AI/ML enablement . Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions for IoT Edge solutions. Build TAM/SAM/SOM models and create actionable portfolio strategies. Plan and execute product launches and ecosystem campaigns with ODM/OEMs and distributors; grow ecosystem adoption. Support regional Sales/FAEs on design-in pursuits; craft solution value propositions and technical narratives to accelerate wins. Lead competitive analysis, positioning, and win/loss reviews. Provide pipeline and forecast inputs; track KPIs (design-win conversion, revenue, margin) and drive corrective actions. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, business development, and ecosystem partners to deliver
complete hardware + software system solutions . Key Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Electrical, Control, or Computer Engineering (advanced degree a plus). 5-8+ years in semiconductor product/segment marketing, product management, or technical sales (embedded/IoT). Strong technical foundation in MCU/MPU architectures, operating systems (RTOS, Zephyr, Linux) and AI/ML. Customer-facing mindset with proven experience in design-in pursuits and win/loss reviews. Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels; strong bias for action in fast-moving markets. Proven success building and executing GTM plans that drive adoption, design-wins, and revenue growth. Experience translating customer needs into MRDs/PRDs and developing reference designs (HW + SW + tools), including
edge AI/ML integration . Strong competitive analysis and pricing acumen; comfort with TAM/SAM/SOM market modeling and portfolio strategy. Experience collaborating with OEM, ODM, and module partners, as well as distribution ecosystems. Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills for both technical and executive audiences. Strategic thinker with ability to influence across functions and cultures. Willingness to travel up to 30% globally.
