Proposal This position supports a Federal Government Agency client and is part of the PMO for the CBP Office of Facilities & Asset Management. The PMO manages planning, construction, sustainment of real property, and program oversight to support USBP and AMO facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic communication plans to support Federal Government client initiatives.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging.

Prepare press releases, talking points, and briefing materials for senior leadership.

Support crisis communication efforts and manage media inquiries.

Ensure compliance with DHS and CBP communication policies and procedures.

Required Skills

Must currently be a U.S. Citizen

Ability to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier 4 or Tier 5 Public Trust background investigation

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field

Minimum of eight (8) or more years of experience in strategic communications, preferably in a federal government agency or law enforcement environment

Demonstrated expertise in media relations, internal communications, and stakeholder engagement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
