Position: Full Time Floor Leader

Weekly: 30-39 hours

Responsibilities

• Driving Sales: Utilize the StoreForce dashboard results to provide coaching and feedback to the sales team, adjust the shop floor structure as needed, own results, and grow the store’s overall sales contribution. Celebrate sales achievements with the team.
• Customer Experience: Lead on the shop floor to deliver a world-class customer experience, including product demonstrations. Observe consultations, collaborate with the team, and strive to exceed daily sales goals to build loyalty and a positive store reputation.
• Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values and articulate our positions on Fighting Animal Testing, Freshest Cosmetics, Ethical Buying, 100% Vegetarian, Handmade, and Naked Packaging through in-store interactions and community engagement.
• Product Passion: Maintain and expand product knowledge, and consistently make informed product recommendations.

Team Involvement

• Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on effective sales techniques and product knowledge to improve performance, support team growth, and increase sales. Lead by example and seek feedback to improve skills.
• Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB): Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives related to DEIB, promote teamwork, collaboration, and recognize each employee’s unique contributions.

Operational Excellence

• Cash Handling and Store Opening/Closing: Manage cash handling, including transactions, opening/closing registers, reconciling drawers, nightly deposits, and securing the store. Take deposits to the bank as required.
• Time and Attendance: Model punctuality, monitor breaks, review daily communications, and keep the team informed and prepared for shifts.
• Visuals and Merchandising: Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer experience.
• Stock and Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices, support inventory tasks, and adjust displays based on sales.
• Policies and Procedures: Support management to ensure compliance with opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales
• Cash handling and opening/closing procedures
• Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training
• Problem-solving in day-to-day customer service operations
• A fast-paced team environment
• Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business
• Flexible schedule to accommodate store needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred:

• Experience with consultation-based customer service
• Experience analyzing sales metrics
• Experience working in skincare or cosmetics
• Experience in cross-cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training
• Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages
