Responsibilities
Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel
Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while providing trusted counsel to top executives
Generate business revenue by expanding existing client relationships and bringing in new clients
Lead and mentor account teams in client management, staff development, and strategic guidance
Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networking and new business contacts
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact media placements
Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online media
Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications and media relations programs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
Experience in setting up measurement programs to measure ROI of communications activities
