Responsibilities

• Oversee $1.5-$2M in account revenue as the most senior, strategic client counsel
• Develop coherent strategies for clients and projects while providing trusted counsel to top executives
• Generate business revenue by expanding existing client relationships and bringing in new clients
• Lead and mentor account teams in client management, staff development, and strategic guidance
• Represent the employer and key clients at industry events to build networking and new business contacts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors for high-impact media placements
• Extensive writing and editing experience with various print and online media
• Demonstrated leadership in managing strategic communications and media relations programs

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with social media influencer engagement and content campaigns
• Innovative thinker with a track record of translating strategic thinking into actionable plans
• Experience in setting up measurement programs to measure ROI of communications activities
