Saint Xavier University is hiring: Windy City Thunderbolts Radio Producer in Chi

Overview

This student position is in charge of producing Windy City Thunderbolts games from the WXAV on-air studios.

Responsibilities

• Produce Windy City Thunderbolts baseball games from the WXAV studios.
• Connect WXAV’s remote broadcasting equipment to the field, and oversee the broadcast.
• Play pre-recording underwriting spots during half inning breaks.
• Must be familiar with the layout of baseball games, and general sports knowledge.

Qualifications

• Must be a student at Saint Xavier University.
• Federal Work Study is NOT a Requirement.
• Students who are Federal Work Study Eligible May Still Apply.
• Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter.
• Experience producing sporting events for WXAV 88.3FM. Knowledge of WXAV’s broadcasting equipment, including but not limited to: on-air audio console, WideOrbit automation system, Adobe Audition, and TieLine remote broadcasting equipment. Familiarity with baseball and structure of baseball games.
