Overview

ProPublica is an independent, nonprofit newsroom that produces investigative journalism in the public interest.

ProPublica is seeking an accomplished audio producer for a new weekly podcast series based on our reporting. The role leads production on individual episodes, translating reporters' work into audio, shaping story arcs, pulling tape, writing scripts, and tracking. The producer will support the host in crafting interview strategies and will partner with reporters to gather tape and shape audio versions of their stories. This is a temporary, two-year role with the possibility of extension. The producer will report to the senior producer, audio.
