About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our creative team and produce engaging short-form and long-form content for our diverse client portfolio. This full-time position involves executing our workflows for style replication and full-service media editing, transforming raw footage into compelling content that drives engagement across social platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit 3-4 short-form videos daily (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) maintaining brand consistency
• Execute full post-production workflow: footage selection, rough cuts, color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics
• Replicate and maintain unique client styles across multiple accounts
• Create engaging hooks, optimize pacing, and implement retention strategies for social platforms
• Add captions, transitions, visual effects, and branded elements using DaVinci Resolve
• Deliver platform-optimized exports (vertical, square, horizontal) meeting technical specifications

Workflow & Collaboration

• Organize raw footage and maintain structured project files in Google Drive/NAS
• Complete quality control checklists before client delivery
• Meet 24-48 hour turnaround times for revisions
• Update project status in ClickUp and communicate deadlines with team
• Integrate feedback efficiently from Creative Director and clients
• Participate in client onboarding to understand brand requirements
• Document all workflows and create detailed SOPs to ensure continuity during absences

Technical Excellence

• Proficient knowledge in color correction and grading techniques for brand consistency
• Design basic motion graphics and lower thirds in DaVinci Resolve
• Balance and mix audio for optimal playback across devices
• Maintain asset libraries and editing templates for efficiency

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional video editing experience
• Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (required)
• Working knowledge of DaVinci Resolve Fusion for motion graphics
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and retention strategies for social media
• Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and sound design
• Portfolio demonstrating style versatility and platform optimization
• Ability to replicate and maintain diverse client brand styles
• Experience editing both short-form (30-90 seconds) and long-form content
• Understanding of codecs, frame rates, and export specifications
• Experience with project organization and asset management
