EndeavorB2B is seeking a Technical Editor to join our team. The Technical Editor will report to the Technical and Multimedia Content Director and will be responsible for production of both sponsored and non-sponsored video content, ensuring the group’s standards of excellence are met while satisfying client expectations and deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and creating sponsored and unsponsored video and multimedia content, acting as on-screen talent and subject matter expert.
- Working closely with sales representatives and clients to determine goals and objectives.
- Researching and developing scripts to meet client objectives.
- Shooting video as required, with knowledge of video technical requirements.
- Researching and writing technical articles within the editorial calendar timeline.
- Posting content to websites and various social media platforms, YouTube, and company site.
- Managing multiple productions to ensure timely completion.
- Communicating effectively with internal and external clients to deliver content that meets their needs.
- Hosting live stream video content.
- Ability to work under time restraints and adapt to last-minute project requests.

- Audience Awareness – adapting content for professionals, technicians, or general audiences without sacrificing accuracy.
- Editorial Workflow – managing deadlines, multiple drafts, approvals, and production schedules.
- Attention to Detail – catching errors in terminology, numbers, and procedures.
- CMS & Publishing Systems – uploading, formatting, and optimizing content for web and video platforms.
Knowledge/Skill/Ability
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, repair procedures, diagnostics, and emerging technologies (EVs, ADAS, TPMS, etc.).
- Familiarity with ASE standards, OEM repair information, and industry best practices for technicians.
- Understanding of video production workflows (pre-production, scripting, shooting, post-production).
- Awareness of digital publishing and distribution platforms (YouTube, social, trade publications, websites).
- Technical Writing & Editing – creating clear, accurate, engaging scripts and articles for professional technicians.
- Video Script Development – structuring technical information into step-by-step, easy-to-follow scripts with strong narrative flow.
- On-Camera & Public Speaking – presenting technical content with confidence on camera, in webinars, or at live events.
- Content Review & Accuracy Checking – ensuring all technical details and terminology are correct.
- Collaboration – working with SMEs, editors, videographers, and marketing staff to produce high-quality content.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear content for professional technicians.
- Stay current on industry trends and incorporate them into content creation.
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects under tight schedules.
- Ability to engage and connect with an audience, via written or on-camera delivery.
- Familiarity with EV, Hybrid, and other emerging technology, preferred.
- Familiarity with collision repair, painting, or vehicle restoration, preferred.
- Experience writing technical content, preferred.
- ASE Master Certification (A1-A8), or ability to obtain Master status in the first year, a plus.
- Experience with social media and multimedia content creation, a plus.
Salary and Benefits
Base pay range: $78,000.00/yr - $81,000.00/yr. The range is provided by EndeavorB2B and final pay will be based on skills, experience, location, and other factors. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical to allow for future growth. This information is provided per state and local pay transparency laws.
