A Seasonal Operations Associate's role is to create an outstanding customer experience by performing operations functions within the store. This is an early morning position and you will work with the task team to perform functions prior to store opening. As a seasonal hire you will have a defined employment time period, but you may be offered an employment extension or regular position based on your work ethic and availability. Apply today!

Primary Responsibilities

• Customer Service — maneuver around the store at a fast pace, assist customers with questions or requests, and provide friendly, product- and location-specific help.
• Executes pricing and signing — adjust ticket prices and signage across the store efficiently and accurately.
• Replenish and restock the store — monitor stock levels and pull/prepare merchandise to ensure styles and sizes are available for customers.
• Receive and unload merchandise — work with teammates to unload trucks and prepare backroom stock.
• Backroom standards — keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Online order pickup (jcp.com) — locate and fulfill orders placed online as needed.
• Merchandise strategy — implement leadership plans for merchandise placement and maintain merchandising standards to deliver a great customer experience.
• Participates in a learning environment — absorb new information from peers or training materials on merchandise or processes.

What you get

Pay Range: USD $12.00/Hr - USD $15.00/Hr.

All associates are eligible for an associate discount on JCPenney merchandise. For paid holidays, associates who are eligible for paid vacation (MTO) are also eligible for eight paid holidays during the calendar year.
