SiaX Title: Influencer Strategist Sia (Internal Title) : Project Consultant- Exempt Contractor

Level: Mid-Senior for Consultants- Mid for Specialists

Project Length: This is a temporary position with an expected duration from October-December 2025

Project Hours: 20-30 hours per week

Location: Hybrid-NY, New York

The expected compensation for this contract is around $60-$75 an hour. The exact pay rate will vary depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to skills, experience, and location.

About The Role

One of our premier clients is looking for a Freelance Influencer Marketing Strategist to shape and execute influencer strategies that fuel integrated, performance-driven campaigns. This role requires a close partnership with Growth, Creative and Paid Media teams to ensure influencer content ladders into broader brand and performance goals. You’ll bring a strong POV on the influencer landscape, the ability to recognize and match creators to the right campaigns at the right moment, and the agility to work across diverse clients and categories.

Your Impact

  • Growth Connector: Translate campaign objectives and paid media strategies into influencer recommendations that drive attention and engagement, leading to measurable business impact.
  • Creative Strategist: Identify and recruit creators whose personas, content and audiences align with brand strategy, target marketing segments, and campaign goals, ensuring authenticity and resonance.
  • Campaign Orchestrator: Develop and roll out influencer briefs for product launches, seasonal pushes, tentpole activations or partnership amplification, in collaboration with Growth, Creative, and Client teams.
  • Budget & Contracts Manager: Lead contract negotiations, oversee influencer budget allocations, and manage invoicing workflows in partnership with finance teams, ensuring campaigns remain on time and on budget.
  • Trend Spotter: Surface creator and content trends as well as emerging platforms to keep campaigns ahead of the curve.
  • Cross-Functional Partner: Ensure influencer activations are integrated into paid, social, and creative channels for maximum ROI.

What Success Looks Like

  • Influencer selections consistently align with audience targets and brand tone, helping to achieve campaign KPIs and drive measurable performance.
  • Paid and organic influencer activations connect into broader acquisition and media plans. Campaigns launch on time with clear briefs, efficient workflows, and creative alignment across client and agency teams.
  • Client feedback and approval rounds are streamlined and well-documented, with influencer assets trafficked, posted, and tracked accurately against timelines and deliverables.
  • Growth and Creative teams view you as a trusted strategist who bridges influencer culture with performance marketing rigor.
  • Reporting on influencer campaigns provides actionable insights that inform future creative, media, and influencer decisions.

Qualifications

  • 4-6+ years in influencer marketing strategy, ideally within an advertising or creator-focused agency or integrated marketing brand environment.
  • Experience collaborating with Growth/Performance Marketing teams; comfort linking influencer work to media strategies and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of influencer discovery tools, performance metrics, and contract negotiations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with creators, agents, and managers across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, emerging).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong ability to translate marketing goals into creative influencer briefs.
  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Advertising or creator agency experience is ideal; health and wellness industry familiarity is a plus.
  • Bachelor\'s Degree
