The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing and executing all social media activity for the company’s portfolio of branded hotels, including Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt. This role ensures each hotel maintains a consistent, engaging, and brand-compliant presence across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The Social Media Manager will create content, schedule posts, engage with audiences, and collaborate with property teams to drive awareness, engagement, and revenue.

Content Creation & Management

  • Develop, curate, and schedule all social media posts for each hotel’s social accounts, ensuring alignment with brand voice and standards.
  • Create engaging content including copy, photography, videography, and graphics to highlight rooms, amenities, F&B outlets, meetings/events, and local experiences.
  • Build and manage monthly content calendars for all hotels.

Brand Compliance & Collaboration

  • Ensure all content follows Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Hyatt brand guidelines and approval processes.
  • Partner with property-level teams to gather content, stories, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with corporate marketing and sales teams to amplify campaigns, packages, and events.

Engagement & Community Management

  • Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across all platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track guest sentiment and communicate opportunities for reputation improvement to hotel leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for user-generated content and influencer partnerships.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track performance of all social channels, providing monthly reports with insights, trends, and recommendations.
  • Monitor key metrics including engagement, reach, follower growth, and conversions.
  • Adjust strategies based on analytics to maximize ROI.

Trend Monitoring & Innovation

  • Stay current on emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Recommend new strategies and content types to increase engagement and reach.
  • Experiment with creative approaches, including Reels, Stories, TikTok, and influencer collaborations.
