In the online travel industry, with fast changing user behavior and the increasing role played by price comparison websites, offering the best price grants disproportionate gains. Travelers choose Agoda because they can find the best hotels at the best price. Success requires a programmatic approach to optimize volumes and margins in the short term, balanced with a strategic view of reactions from customers, hotels, competitors, and regulators. We are looking for a senior leader to craft Agoda’s global marketing strategy and execute it using a wide range of tactics and tools, from price display to machine learning algorithms. You will closely coordinate with Agoda’s senior management, marketing and product teams, while managing and expanding a team of pricing campaign managers and analysts. What you will be doing
Support the development and execution of global marketing strategies in alignment with Agoda’s business goals Collaborate with Product and Market Development teams to implement key initiatives and drive improvements across all channels Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and local market intelligence to inform business decisions Design and launch initiatives and campaigns that balance short-term objectives with long-term strategic goals Monitor and report on the effectiveness of business initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and managers; participate in hiring and onboarding new team members Manage budgets related to team initiatives and ensure efficient allocation of resources What you need to be good at to succeed in this role
Strong analytical skills and a passion for working with data to drive business decisions Advanced proficiency in SQL Experience in pricing, revenue management, or a related analytical field; experience in the online travel or e-commerce industry is a plus Proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and cultures People management experience, including hiring, coaching, and developing team members Experience managing budgets and delivering results against financial targets A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a get-things-done attitude Exposure to product development, technology, or working with IT teams is an advantage Equal Opportunity Employer
