Overview

Director, Technical Program Manager - Digital Marketing Technology at Salesforce. This high-visibility role leads large-scale, cross-functional programs within Technology, Marketing & Products. TPMs drive programs from start to finish, ensuring effective communication and alignment with executives and key partners. The role requires executive presence and experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including the C-suite. Responsibilities

Lead programs by aligning scope, release planning, and securing cross-functional alignment across vision and business goals. Guide teams through the software engineering lifecycle using Agile, with strong analytical and technical skills. Facilitate Steering Committee meetings with key partners to make decisions, remove obstacles, and ensure business goals and strategic vision are met. Develop strong partnerships with functional teams to drive focus on business goals and act as a trusted partner for executive management. Coordinate cross-functional workgroups to address release issues, dependencies, team status, production issues, metrics, and achievements. Lead program/feature dependencies across multiple teams and functions. Anticipate and remove obstacles with urgency to keep project goals on track. Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews, with deep dives into goals, risks, and issues. Foster a collaborative environment that supports creativity, innovation, and learning. Act as a catalyst to advance technology, marketing, and product strategy globally and drive organizational change. Create clarity from chaos and drive toward measurable outcomes. Requirements

10+ years (Director, TPM) of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company. 7+ years of conducting and leading SaaS product development programs; strong understanding of the SaaS business model and product development lifecycle. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on, detail-oriented approach. Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to apply agile methodologies in dynamic environments. Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and team members. Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills for cross-functional, matrix environments. Experience with Portfolio Management. Ability to master technical subjects relevant to the program. Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
