Technical Program Managers (TPMs) at Salesforce lead large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within our Technology, Marketing & Products organizations. TPMs manage programs from start to finish, ensuring efficient workflows and effective communication. They work closely with executives and key partners to drive critical programs and activities across the company.

As a Director of Technical Program Management for Digital Marketing Technology you will drive programs that create Agent-first Marketing Websites, Platforms and Events that drive the business and showcase what is possible with Salesforce products. This is a high-visibility role working on objectives critical to the Salesforce Chief Digital Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, requiring executive presence and experience communicating with senior stakeholders including at the C-suite level.

Responsibilities

Lead programs by aligning scope, release planning, and cross-functional teams on vision and business goals; craft program structure and secure cross-functional alignment.

Steer software engineering experience using Agile methods and analytical thinking to drive delivery.

Facilitate Steering Committee meetings with key partners to drive decisions, remove obstacles, and ensure program success.

Develop strong partnerships with functional teams and act as a trusted partner for executive management.

Coordinate with cross-functional teammates to align workgroups, address release issues, dependencies, status, production issues, and metrics.

Manage program/feature dependencies across multiple teams, functions, divisions, and partners.

Anticipate and remove obstacles to keep project goals on track.

Provide monthly program reviews and updates at sprint reviews, including risks and critical issues.

Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and learning.

Help advance Technology, Marketing & Products strategy globally and drive organizational change.

Create clarity from chaos.

Qualifications

10+ years (Director, TPM) of enterprise software/technical program or engineering management experience at an enterprise technology company.

7+ years of leading SaaS product development programs; strong understanding of the SaaS business model and development lifecycle.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with hands-on, detail-oriented approach.

Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to apply Agile methodologies in a dynamic environment.

Ability to establish credibility with senior executives and team members.

Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills in a cross-functional, matrix environment.

Experience with Portfolio Management.

Ability to master technical subjects relevant to the program.

Strong organizational, project management, analysis, and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
