Join SEL University as a full-time Lead Instructional Designer and help shape cutting-edge training programs that empower users to master SEL's advanced technologies. Our team of expert instructors and instructional designers collaborates to create courses that span foundational power system concepts to hands-on application of SEL products. Your work will directly support our education initiatives related to the electronic devices and software we manufacture.

Responsibilities

Auditing training content and proposing a strategic learning path that students can progress through.

Outlining and storyboarding a multi-day instructor-led training with subject matter experts.

Creating interactive eLearning content using Articulate Storyline and Rise.

Collaborating with video producers to create sophisticated animations.

Reviewing learner feedback and evaluation data to find improvement opportunities.

Partnering with managers to propose a tailored training solution that addresses specific customer needs.

Exploring and sharing practical ways to integrate AI, microlearning, and emerging learning technologies.

Qualifications This job might be for you if you have :

A degree in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field.

A portfolio showcasing sophisticated, effective learning content in a variety of delivery formats.

More than 7 years experience developing technical training for diverse audiences and instructors.

A passion for learning complex topics and turning them into engaging experiences based on adult learning theories.

A desire to be part of project teams that include creative collaborators as well as technical partners.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and stay on track while meeting tight deadlines.

Mastery of PowerPoint, Word, and Articulate tools; bonus if you know Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.

Pay Range Pay Range Data :

We anticipate filling this position as an SEL University Lead Instructional Designer, $78,000 - $104,600. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience, and the pay range may differ if filled at a different level. Our pay ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
