Our Product Marketing team’s mission is to generate customer insights that inform Stripe’s product strategy, lead go-to-market for our suite of products, and create and execute ambitious marketing campaigns to drive product growth. Product Marketing is a highly cross-functional role at Stripe, partnering closely with the integrated marketing team, field marketing, sales, design, communications and product. What you’ll do Deeply understand how to scope and execute the marketing strategies needed to reach SaaS platforms and their decision makers: talk regularly to users and prospects and work with our research team for qualitative and quantitative insights that inform your work (content, messaging, positioning, etc). Develop thought leadership to position Stripe as a leader in embedded payments financial services and the acceleration of platform payments; demonstrate how Enterprises can innovate new business models using Stripe’s solutions for platforms. Advocate for our existing and prospective users, stay informed about their challenges and ambitions, and become the go-to expert for your audience area. Develop differentiated audience positioning and messaging informed by user research, market insights, and product understanding; amplify through integrated marketing campaigns, field events, partners and the Stripe website. Build content for sales teams and marketing teams to activate in the field, including decks, webinars, guides, workshops and email nurture programs. Work closely with cross-functional teams—product managers, sales, design, PR, research and engineering—to develop go-to-market strategy and drive launches for our products. Partner with product and campaign teams to track metrics and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption on an ongoing basis. Think globally as we expand our solutions around the world, adapting understanding of local market needs, competitors, and pricing accordingly. Who you are

You have extensive experience working with SaaS platforms (e-commerce, cloud-based business management, hospitality, or CRM platforms) and understand how to position solutions to decision makers, influencers, and customers. You are a storyteller with deep empathy for users and the ability to adapt communication to reach and engage audiences—from product leaders to C-suite decision makers—with excellent verbal and written skills. You are data-oriented and pair insights with a passion for users to develop thoughtful points of view for taking products to market. You are organized and able to manage highly interdependent, complex projects with multiple work streams. You are passionate about technology and can explain technical concepts in accessible terms. You are ambitious and thrive in a fast-moving environment, able to operate between high-level strategy and attention to detail. You are a team player who collaborates across Marketing, PR, product, sales, and other teams to execute on work. Optionally, you have knowledge of payments and the payments ecosystem and are excited to tell Stripe’s differentiated story for software platforms and embedded financial services. Minimum Requirements

7+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, product marketing, product management, operations, or strategy consulting At least 5 years of marketing or go-to-market experience Experience working on marketing or growth across a product’s lifecycle Experience in B2B settings and with sales teams is preferred Experience in payments or financial services is preferred but not required We don’t expect you to have all of these, but the more the merrier Employment details
