We partner with family temporary housing sites across New York, educational institutions, and community organizations to create a strong support network for young people experiencing homelessness, helping them overcome challenges and forge their own path to success.Become a vital part of our mission by volunteering as a Mentor for our students. Position Overview

As an Music Therapy Mentor, you will play a key role in advancing our work. You will help us provide Music as a vehicle to self expression.

Key Responsibilities

Use music as a creative process resulting in exploration of our student’s feelings, reconciling emotional conflicts, fostering self-awareness and making memories

Incorporate engaging and expressive activities to help our students with life changes, trauma, and other challenges

Develop individualized music therapy (non-clinical) lesson plan for our students
