Overview
CeLeen, an operating firm of Command Holdings, is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to serve on a potential contract supporting the US Coast Guard Office of Governmental Public Affairs (CG-092). Responsibilities
Writing copy for regular (weekly, monthly) social media posts for social media platforms. Creating and curating social media content based on appropriate positioning and posture service USCG portfolios and programs. Updating social media content library, including developing content based on planned editorial calendar. Coordinating graphic creation with designer completing visual needs and delivering on deadline. Working with creative team to implement paid social media advertising campaigns. Managing a regular response cadence to respond to customer comments on social media platforms. Identifying opportunities to optimize social strategies to improve performance. Scheduling social media content in third-party software, managing distribution timelines and following up for completion. Collaborating closely with team and client POCs to validate all responses for appropriateness and timeliness. Onboarding and maintaining client social accounts. Keeping up with social media trends. Reviewing social content for grammar, spelling, and correct information. Implementing changes based on client and team feedback. Contributing to creative content development processes where required. This position is contingent on contract award. Anticipated salary range: $80,000 - $95,000. Work Environment
Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Physical Demands
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer. Bachelor’s Degree in communications, business, media or related field AND four (4) years of relevant experience OR Master’s Degree in communications, business, media or related field AND two (2) years of relevant experience. Direct experience with closed captioning and Section 508 accessibility ensuring all social media posts are accessible to people with disabilities. Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus. Professional proficiency in English is required. Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
