Location: New York, NY (Hybrid, 4x Week In-Office)
Reporting to: Senior Director of Community & Influencer

Salary: $95,000-$115,000

Role Overview:

Bubble is seeking a strategic and highly relational Senior Community Manager to lead all facets of our growing community ecosystem spanning brand loyalists, creators, ambassadors, and college reps. This role is both high-touch and high-impact, responsible for building a deeply connected brand community that drives advocacy, awareness, and long-term loyalty.

As a key leader on the Community team, you'll oversee the strategy, execution, and engagement across multiple community verticals, while managing and mentoring a team of three. You'll bring a thoughtful mix of creative thinking, operational excellence, and relationship-first leadership to everything from grassroots ambassador activations and product mailers to college events and community partnerships.

You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners in Influencer, Commercial, PR, Social, and Brand to ensure the Bubble community is integrated into key moments across the business- from new product launches to experiential campaigns.

*This is not a Social Media focused role, instead this role's focus is around building a strong and influential brand ambassador program, ensuring flawless event planning and execution of pop-up Community-led activations, and managing and mentoring internal Community Team members including coordinators, associates, and interns.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Strategy & Engagement

  • Own and evolve the vision for Bubble's full community landscape- including ambassadors, creators, college reps, and superfans.
  • Develop strategies that foster organic connection, brand advocacy, and long-term community retention.
  • Lead personalized outreach, surprise & delight programs, and tiered engagement plans that keep the community excited and invested.
Team Leadership & Program Oversight
  • Manage, support, and develop a team of three direct reports across day-to-day execution and long-term strategy.
  • Set clear goals for each program and ensure team accountability through regular check-ins and performance tracking.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture where ideas and feedback flow freely.
College & Campus Marketing
  • Lead the development and execution of all campus marketing programs- activating reps at priority schools and shaping regionally relevant campaigns.
  • Build strong relationships with student leaders, organizations, and ambassadors to ensure Bubble remains a culturally relevant brand on college campuses.
  • Oversee rep playbooks, communications, and event planning in collaboration with internal partners.
Creator & Ambassador Management
  • Oversee ambassador segmentation and creator relationship tracking, ensuring each cohort receives tailored communication and opportunities.
  • Partner with the Influencer and Social teams to identify standout creators from within the community for potential brand partnerships or elevated content features.
  • Manage seeding strategies and ambassador product gifting in support of key brand moments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Campaign Execution
  • Work closely with Creative, Social, and Influencer teams to bring community voices into product launches, campaigns, and brand storytelling moments.
  • Brief ambassadors and reps with clear, compelling content direction that inspires authentic, on-brand output.
  • Ensure all community efforts support larger brand initiatives and marketing goals.
Reporting & Optimization
  • Maintain weekly and monthly reporting across all community initiatives, including KPIs like engagement, participation, content volume, and sentiment.
  • Use performance insights to inform future planning and optimize programs for scale and impact.
  • Regularly audit tools and processes to ensure community tracking systems are efficient and effective.
Who You Are:
  • 5-8 years of experience in community, influencer, or brand marketing within the beauty or consumer space.
  • 2+ years experience managing direct reports, with a proven ability to mentor and grow a team.
  • Deep understanding of Gen Z culture and the beauty content landscape.
  • Exceptionally strong communicator and relationship-builder- you thrive in a role where people are at the center.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution.
  • Passionate about building meaningful connections and turning customers into lifelong brand advocates.
