Record / Ingest Content into servers Set up live shots for newscasts/shows Quality control video and audio signals for live productions Monitor and fulfill media ingest requests Monitor/Manage archive workflows Monitor/Manage server storage space Perform other duties as assigned Experience
Basic Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree, certificate or equivalent work experience Minimum of 3 years of experience working in multi-media, video, sound-music, television production environment & projects Fundamental understanding of Audio/Video signal flow Basic time management skills working under tight deadlines Strong attention to detail Excellent communication skills, verbal, and messaging Working knowledge of video/audio file formats Basic video editing a plus Additional Job Requirements Must be willing to work onsite Must be 18 years or greater Must have ability to read, write, speak and understand English Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Desired Qualifications Robust interpersonal skills for a diverse and energetic newsroom Self-starter, capable of managing tasks efficiently, able to self-manage with a vested attitude Position requires a cool, level-headed individual who works well under the pressures of “live” television Must be available to work flexible hours, which will include nights and weekends Ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure Additional Requirements Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
