Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students with visual impairments Provide direct instruction and support to visually impaired students across K-12 grade levels Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure accommodations and modifications are in place Utilize assistive technology and specialized teaching materials to enhance student learning Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student instruction and progress Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired Experience working with students who have visual impairments in an educational setting Knowledge of teaching techniques and assessment methods for visually impaired learners Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other professionals Strong communication and organizational skills Location: Arlington, WA Position Type: Part-time, contract for the next school year If you have the skills and experience to provide specialized instruction to visually impaired students and support their academic growth, consider applying for this important teaching role.
