Transform the everyday with us. We are seeking a dynamic Portfolio Sales Specialist for Industrial Communications and Connectivity to join our Digital Industries Sales Acceleration team. As a technical evangelist and subject matter expert, you'll drive sales growth through deep product knowledge and value-driven customer engagement across our comprehensive DI Connectivity portfolio, including Scalance, 5G, Rugged Communications, and Industrial Network Services.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the cutting edge of industrial connectivity, helping customers realize the full potential of the Digital Thread framework while positioning Siemens as the optimal choice for their digitalization journey.
Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Portfolio Advocacy: Develop comprehensive expertise in Siemens DI Connectivity products and solutions; serve as the primary technical evangelist, articulating unique value propositions to customers and partners (Internal and External); provide expert guidance on product capabilities and technology roadmaps; stay current with industry trends and competitive offerings.
Customer Engagement & Value Creation: Participate actively throughout the Siemens Engagement Model from identification to negotiation; conduct technical discovery sessions to identify customer use cases; lead Vision Setting and Scoping Workshops demonstrating solution value; deliver compelling presentations positioning Siemens DI offerings as the optimal choice; support proof of concept implementations showcasing portfolio capabilities.
Solution Development & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer-centric Digital Thread solutions; contribute technical expertise to RFP responses and solution designs; develop use case initiatives demonstrating portfolio value; partner with Account Managers on account-specific expansion strategies; work with Solution Partners and Integrators to ensure successful implementations.
Business Development: Identify new opportunities for portfolio adoption within existing and prospective accounts; leverage market intelligence tools to identify potential customers; conduct Digital Maturity Assessments to identify digitalization opportunities; apply consultative selling methodologies to create new perspectives with customers.
Qualifications What you'll bring to the role:
Essential Requirements:
Deep technical knowledge of industrial communications and connectivity solutions
Proven experience in technical sales, solution engineering, or customer-facing technical roles
Strong understanding of industrial automation and digitalization concepts
Excellent presentation and communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts into business value
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across organizational boundaries
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Legal authorization to work in the United States permanently without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Desirable Experience:
Experience with Siemens DI portfolio products
Knowledge of wireless and wired communications technologies
Understanding of industrial networking and cybersecurity
Experience in manufacturing or process industries

Pay range: $80,920 - $169,080 annually with a target incentive of 30% of base salary. Actual wage may vary based on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
