We are a SaaS platform that empowers thousands of businesses to create high-performing websites. As a remote Web Designer, youll help craft beautiful, high-performing website templates and reusable block patterns tailored to the real estate investor market. Youll work hands-on within our WordPress CMS and proprietary tools to develop content that forms the foundation for member websites while optimizing for performance outcomes across conversion rate, Core Web Vitals, and SEO rankings. Youll design for specific user types (e.g., motivated sellers, land buyers, and cash home buyers) and create layouts that build trust fast and drive action. This role focuses on designing visual systems that drive results, not building custom code or plugins. In this contract role, youll collaborate with product and engineering teams to create responsive templates that are easy to launch and personalize, grounded in conversion best practices, and youll provide product feedback to help grow the platform as a best-in-class content tool. The ideal candidate has a sharp eye for layout, typography, and mobile-first design, and can discuss HTML and CSS structure in a design context. Goals & Responsibilities Create and maintain website content templates and pages Maximize conversion rates, Core Web Vitals performance, and SEO rankings for platform members Develop reusable, modular block patterns and content sections optimized for clarity, responsiveness, and conversion Design content with empathy for customers and their leads Develop content assets and messaging templates for platform-wide reuse with brand consistency Implement SEO best practices and conduct keyword research Partner with Product to evolve WordPress editing experience and provide content-focused feedback Collaborate with Engineering to guide content defaults, styling, and theme architecture Work with Customer Experience & Services teams to translate customer needs into content updates Define content standards for usability, mobile responsiveness, and performance Monitor content performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities Stay current with CRO, Core Web Vitals, SEO, and WordPress FSE trends Test and iterate on content variations to improve member outcomes Document content creation processes for scalable operations
Requirements
Strong verbal and written English communication; comfortable in virtual meetings and cross-team collaboration Effective communicator across Slack, Loom, async tools, and video calls Strong eye for layout, hierarchy, whitespace, and modern UI/UX design Experience building pages with visual editors WordPress Block Editor Experience optimizing webpage content for performance: conversions, Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility Working knowledge of HTML & CSS Experience using Figma (or similar) for design mockups and handoffs Fluent in color theory and typography; Understanding of designing with a specific audience in mind Bonus: Real estate, home services, or other trust-critical industries.
