Senior UX Designer
Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
- Lead and participate in the brainstorming of and creation of concepts for best-in-class user experiences
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Translate requirements into style guides, design systems, design patterns and attractive user interfaces.
- Develop UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and what they look like.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness & adaptive design).
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and adhere to corporate brand guidelines
- Present design work to the user experience team, product teams, and senior leadership for review and feedback
Requirements
- Experience - Min. of 7 years UI/UX design experience for digital products or services.
- A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Figma, iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- A team player but can work independently too.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Experience developing UX wireframes, interactive prototypes and mock-ups for both web and mobile
- Possess a solid understanding and demonstration of user-centered goal-directed design principles
- Possess a good understanding of what types of experiences are made possible by current digital technologies
- Proven ability to develop simple and elegant design approaches to complex design problems
- Experience in designing for the web, preferably for Enterprise products.
- Bachelors degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience
- Current on latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Familiarities with AI agent interfaces will be appreciated.
Location and Compensation
Location: East Hanover, NJ (Hybrid if local, Remote considered if in ET zone)
Pay Rate: $57.14 - $71.43/hr based on experience and qualifications (W2 Only)
Contract: 12-month
