As a Senior UX Designer, you will deliver end-to-end user experiences across every customer touchpoint for Honeywells Industrial Automation business. Using human-centered design principles, youll ensure our products and applications are not only useful and usable, but also desirable.
You will support the digital design of global products and contribute directly to shaping intuitive, branded, and seamless experiences across platforms. Partnering with interaction designers, industrial designers, researchers, engineers, and product managers, you will help define and execute world-class user experiences that drive the next generation of Honeywell products.
LOCATION: This role can be based in Fort Mill, SC or Lincolnshire, IL.

Illinois Salary Range Only:
The annual base salary range for this position is $118,000-$150,000. This salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidates work experience, education and training, key skills, and market and business considerations.
The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, design mockups, and create interactive prototypes
- Provide a high level of craft to visual design and execute high-fidelity user interface designs that adhere to brand guidelines and improve usability
- Establish the interaction dynamics between users and the product, ensuring seamless transitions, and effective user feedback
- Identify success metrics ensuring design solutions continue to deliver customer value
- Implement and refine design systems and component libraries to ensure consistency and scalability
- Strive to make designs accessible and responsive, tailored for optimal performance across a range of devices
- Engage in user interviews and perform usability assessments
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, developers, and engineering functions to translate requirements into user-centered designs
You Must Have
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 2 to 5+ years of experience to include:
- User Experience (UX) Design, Interaction Design or Human Factors
- Design trends, Benchmarking, and Concept Creation
We Value
- Outstanding user experience design portfolio shows UX/UI process and deliverables
- Experience with Lean UX and iterative/Agile design methods
- Experience working with an Agile development team
- Understanding of design systems and experience in using a component library
- Experience in interaction visual design of products and software applications
- Familiarity with design for cloud/SaaS
- Experience with wire framing and clickable prototyping programs
- Experience creating low fidelity to high fidelity visuals and mockups
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
- Experience with observational research and usability testing
- Experience measuring success with qualitative and quantitative methods
- Demonstrated experience scoping, planning, and executing projects
- Some experience with AI interface integration
- Experience in responsive design and accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Excellent written and communication skills
