The OPTIM Assistant Community Manager plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall management and operational success of residential real estate community in Chandler, Arizona. This position is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day administration, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination to ensure a high standard of living and resident satisfaction. The Assistant Community Manager will collaborate closely with the Community Manager to implement leasing strategies, enforce community policies, and oversee financial activities such as rent collection and budgeting. This role requires proactive problem-solving and effective communication to foster a positive community environment and address resident concerns promptly. Ultimately, the Assistant Community Manager contributes to maximizing occupancy rates, maintaining property value, and enhancing the reputation of the community within the local market.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or customer service within the real estate industry.
- Basic knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or similar property management certification preferred
- Experience working in multi-family residential communities or real estate leasing.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and local real estate regulations.
- Proficiency with advanced property management platforms such as Yardi or RealPage.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience in team collaboration or supervisory roles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily operations of the residential community, including leasing, maintenance, and resident services.
- Support the Community Manager in marketing and leasing efforts to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries, concerns, and service requests to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Coordinate with maintenance and vendor teams to schedule repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of leases, payments, and community documentation in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, budgets, and expense tracking to support fiscal responsibility.
- Enforce community rules and regulations consistently and fairly to maintain a safe and pleasant living environment.
- Participate in community events and initiatives to promote resident engagement and retention.
