About the Role:

We provide a comprehensive array of real estate services to clients throughout the nation, and we are rapidly growing! The OPTIM Community Manager will serve as the primary liaison between residents, property owners, and community events, and ensuring compliance with leasing agreements and property regulations. The Community Manager will oversee daily operations of our Chandler, AZ property, including tenant relations, lease administration, and vendor management, to maximize resident satisfaction and property performance. By implementing strategic community engagement initiatives and maintaining open communication channels, the manager will enhance resident retention and contribute to the overall success of the property portfolio. This position requires a proactive leader who can balance operational efficiency with exceptional customer service to uphold the company’s reputation and growth objectives.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in property or community management within the real estate rental or leasing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with local housing laws, fair housing regulations, and leasing procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation preferred
  • Experience managing multi-family residential communities or mixed-use developments.
  • Proficiency in additional property management platforms such as Yardi or AppFolio.
  • Demonstrated success in community engagement and resident retention strategies.
  • Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, to effectively communicate with a diverse resident base.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of community operations including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, promptly addressing inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Coordinate and execute community events and initiatives that promote resident engagement and foster a strong sense of community.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal housing regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to maintain property standards and address maintenance or repair needs efficiently.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, financial reports, and occupancy metrics to support property performance and strategic planning.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to lease agreements.

Problem-solving skills are essential for addressing resident concerns and resolving conflicts efficiently while maintaining professionalism. Proficiency with property management software enables accurate tracking of leases, payments, and maintenance requests, supporting data-driven decision-making. Leadership and interpersonal skills foster a welcoming community atmosphere and encourage resident participation in events and initiatives. Additionally, knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements ensures compliance and mitigates risk, contributing to the overall stability and reputation of the community.
