Client Overview: Our client, in the agency space, is looking for a Media Sales Coordinator to join their team! This role is onsite in NYC 3 days/week.

Role Overview: We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented self-starter to join the sales team. The Sales Department sets the tone for the business by generating revenue and serving as the external, client-facing representation of the company. This position works closely with Operations, Finance, and Production teams internally. It’s a great opportunity to gain experience and grow within the advertising and media industry.

  • Coordinate with distribution teams on campaign specifics and special requests.
  • Enter contracted campaigns into internal systems with detailed posting instructions to ensure proper installation.
  • Provide data to clients by completing Request for Proposal (RFP) templates, including researching brands to ensure relevant inventory recommendations.
  • Deliver campaign proof of performance/completion reports to clients, and provide details to accounting for payment processing.
  • Support both the planning and execution of experiential campaigns.
  • Communicate with clients regarding inquiries or requests, and occasionally join Sales Account Executives at industry events.
  • Calculate media rates, poster quantities, and coverage for campaigns.
  • Collaborate with marketing and social media teams to align on campaign efforts.

Media Sales Coordinator Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
  • 1-3 years of experience or internship in a corporate or startup environment.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to interpret direction and draft correspondence or memos.
  • Strong presentation skills in one-on-one and small group settings with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Filemaker Pro, Google Maps, Adobe Photoshop, and CRM systems preferred.
  • Confidence in communicating with all levels, including senior management.
  • Excellent follow-through skills with the ability to stay organized and proactive.
  • Strong work ethic with a sense of ownership, responsibility, and drive.
  • Passion and interest in pursuing a career in media, advertising, or sales.
