Donor Engagement and Communications

What You Will Do
Job Duties:
Content Creation & Digital Media Production
- Develop digital content across multiple communications channels, campaigns, and initiatives, including for web, email, social media, print, and digital channels.
- Ensuring content reflects institutional engagement and fundraising priorities and supports the engagement, cultivation, and stewardship of key audiences.
- Plan and coordinate high-quality video and audio content for web, social media, and special events.
- Supervise student video assistant in video production and digital editing services for advancement initiatives.
Writing & Editorial Development
- Research, write, and edit compelling content across channels (web, email, social, print, video).
- Translate complex academic and institutional initiatives into engaging, accessible stories.
- Write proposals, donor stories, video scripts, and marketing collateral that support fundraising and engagement.
- Maintain editorial consistency that aligns with the institutional voice, tone, and messaging.
Strategic Collaboration & Project Management
- Partner with the advancement staff and communications teams to identify storytelling opportunities.
- Lead or support multimedia communications projects from concept through execution.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and strategic goals.

- These responsibilities are not intended to be all-inclusive. It is understood that the employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties if requested by the supervisor. Responsibilities are reviewed periodically and may be revised if deemed necessary.
- Individuals will also be required to work some nights and weekends, when necessary, and travel (via plane, train, or car) at least 15% of the time within and outside of the state of Georgia.
Qualifications
Minimum Hiring Standards:
- Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
