Position Responsibilities:
Create and maintain technical content for customers that is accurate, discoverable, and well-organized. Improve the clarity, style, and organization of technical content based on customer data. Maintain customer-facing text for console UIs and context-aware help panels. Test features to provide feedback to the engineering team. Anticipate customer needs and be the "first customer". Improve team processes to increase efficiency. Dive deep to become a subject-matter expert in your area of ownership. Actively mentor and be mentored to develop your super powers, gain unique perspectives, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Build effective technical content plans in alignment with engineering product strategy. Develop scripts, sample code, and technical procedures that are easy to use. Impact product CX, UX design, roadmap priorities, and engineering team goals. Lead projects with multiple writers that cross multiple engineering teams. Implement efficiencies that increase team output.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Technical Writing, Communications or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a bachelor's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skills: (1) designing and delivering developer-oriented documentation; (2) using content publishing tools to write, format, manage, and publish technical content on the web.
