Overview

Location: United States, New York, NY. Employment Type: Full time (Hybrid). Department: Marketing. This is a leadership role within HUMAN Security responsible for brand strategy, communications, and content across channels to shape how the world sees HUMAN. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this newly created position will define our brand platform and amplify our voice through storytelling, media, and executive thought leadership. You will lead a team spanning Brand, Communications, and Content to ensure a consistent narrative, visible values, and a distinct HUMAN voice across every channel. Responsibilities

Own and evolve HUMAN’s brand strategy and expression across visual identity, messaging architecture, and tone of voice—aligned with company vision, product positioning, and customer experience. Lead Corporate Communications and PR strategy, including media relations, executive visibility, industry thought leadership, and crisis communications. Manage agency partnerships (creative, PR, content) to ensure alignment on brand strategy, quality of execution, and measurable outcomes. Oversee content strategy and development with product marketing, sales, and executives to produce assets across blog, video, social, newsletters, and long-form formats (e.g., whitepapers, customer stories, research reports). Develop and execute a strategic social media and owned media presence to build awareness, trust, and engagement with key audiences. Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, Sales, and People teams to maintain brand integrity across events, campaigns, recruiting, and internal communications. Own the HUMAN speaker bench and lead executive communication efforts, including keynote narratives and thought leadership platforms. Own the HUMAN brand strategy for sub-brands Satori Threat Intelligence & Research Team, and The Human Collective. Establish and track brand health, share of voice, media impact, and content performance using data-informed KPIs and regular reporting. Build and lead a high-performing team, setting clear goals, fostering creativity and collaboration, and mentoring future brand and communications leaders. Qualifications

10+ years in brand, communications, or content leadership roles, with at least 5 years managing teams in high-growth B2B tech, media, or cybersecurity environments. Deep expertise in brand development, corporate narrative, and multi-channel content strategy. Experience running external communications and PR, including managing agencies, media relationships, and executive visibility programs. Strategic thinker with a strong editorial eye and storytelling instincts. Collaborative, empathetic leader with a track record of building trust across marketing, sales, product, and executive teams. Comfortable switching between vision-setting and execution—capable of leading a rebrand or editing a headline as needed. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong point of view on marketing technology best practices, including experience evaluating, implementing, and evolving brand and content tech stacks (e.g., CMS, DAM, social publishing, analytics).
