Senior Product Designer Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Pay: $80-85 / hr DOE The Planet Group is looking for a Product Designer to join our well-known lifestyle brand technology client on a 12-month contract. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week role working a remote schedule. Our client is looking for a passionate product designer to help define how people interact with the company. The Product Designer will need to be an excellent communicator, a self-starter, and be comfortable working closely with engineers, researchers, and writers. Responsibilities

Craft intuitive, visually refined merchant tools—blending systematic thinking, interactivity, and pixel-level precision Design merchant experiences that deliver measurable business impact Collaborate cross-functionally with product, content design, data science, engineering, and research to develop comprehensive, well-articulated solutions Rapidly generate multiple concepts and prototypes—knowing when to focus on pixel-perfect detail or to use low-fidelity sketches as needed Clearly present design solutions and synthesize stakeholder feedback into a focused point of view that drives final decisions Balance merchant needs with Pinterest’s objectives, designing responsibly to serve both users and the business Uphold and inspire a high level of design execution across the team Qualifications

6+ years of experience in product design Must have experience designing for business products, having content / catalog management or merchant domain knowledge is a plus Proven track record envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in close partnership with product management and engineering Strong portfolio that demonstrates outstanding design skills (prototyping is a must) and product thinking informed by qualitative and quantitative insights Great communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate your design decisions and the problems they’re solving
