Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored instructional programs and services to students with visual impairments across grades K-12 Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to adapt curriculum and materials Conduct assessments to determine student needs and monitor progress Train students in orientation and mobility and use of assistive technologies Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and educational teams Qualifications and Experience: Certification or licensure as a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments Experience working with K-12 students who have visual impairments Knowledge of assistive technology and educational strategies for visually impaired learners Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and assess student needs Location: Eden Prairie, Minnesota (onsite) This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting the academic and developmental success of visually impaired students in a dynamic K-12 environment.
