Description Key Responsibilities: Assist with planning and presenting storytimes and youth programs Help families find books, use digital tools, and navigate library services Participate in library-wide programs like the Summer Reading Challenge and NJ Makers Day Maintain the children's collection through shelving, weeding, and displays Provide general public service support, including technology and reference help Support library staff with event setup, materials preparation, and customer service Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Current enrollment in an ALA accredited Master's Degree in Library Science program is preferred Strong interest in working with children and families Excellent communication and customer service skills Comfortable using library technology and digital platforms Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Ability to work in a team and independently Willingness to travel between library branches if needed
