Regional Director, LoopNet Digital Advertising - Kansas City / St Louis. This role focuses on leading a high-performing sales team in a fast-paced, highly transactional environment to grow LoopNet’s digital advertising business.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage 5–10 sales professionals within Commercial Real Estate, Digital Advertising / Marketing or adjacent transactional sales; including the ability to attract, hire, train and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Lead sales efforts in a highly transactional, consultative sales-oriented, fast-paced organization with a short cycle-time sales model.
- Be responsible for a book of business in excess of $1 million in annual revenue.
- Demonstrate the ability to build long-term and sustainable relationships and business partnerships with clients at all levels.
- Rapidly grow a sales territory or market through a combination of new client acquisition and existing account growth; consistently exceeding sales targets over multiple years.
- Retain proven sales producers and performance manage non-producers; build internal relationships with superiors, peers, teams, and sales channels, as well as external relationships with customers.
- Travel 25–30% as needed to support business development and client engagement.
- Be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high-growth company.
Qualifications
- External applicants: 5+ years of experience directly managing 5–10 sales professionals within Commercial Real Estate, Digital Advertising / Marketing or adjacent transactional sales; including the ability to attract, hire and develop a high performing sales team.
- Internal applicants: 5+ years of sales experience, plus 18+ months at a CoStar Sales Executive level or higher while meeting and/or exceeding sales targets.
- A completed bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is essential.
- Experience leading sales efforts in a highly transactional, consultative, fast-paced environment with a short sales cycle.
- Experience being responsible for a book of business in excess of $1 million in annual revenue.
- Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record/check prior to start.
- Preferred: ability to travel 25–30%; demonstrated ability to build relationships and partnerships; track record of territory/market growth and sales target achievement; strong internal and external relationship skills.
